Role Description
A Research and Evaluation Manager leads the scoping, coordination and delivery of research and evaluation activity in research programme. This includes: commissioning research and evaluation; developing a research and evaluation framework for the work to be carried out; managing research projects and activities; providing expert advice on approaches to research and evaluation; contributing to the development of strategy through leading on the development of an evidence base; advising key stakeholders on evidence and research; maintaining the confidentiality and security of information; managing the research team to ensure research objectives and requirements are met; and encouraging and supporting collaboration among researchers and evaluators. It may also include undertaking specific aspects of the research programme.
