Role Description
An Information Analyst provides analytical support to clinicians and managers in order to facilitate clinical decision making, service development and performance management within the organisation(s) and to meet external requirements. This includes: identifying current and emerging information needs; obtaining, linking, collating, analysing, understanding, interpreting and presenting quantitative and/or qualitative data; working with others in the analytical team to provide information and analysis to meet organisational and team data and information needs; facilitating data quality; communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders; providing advice and support to others on the collection, analysis, reporting and use of data and information. It might also involve: supporting the provision of education and training to others in the organisation.
