Role Description
A Clinical Knowledge Engineer designs and develops an effective system to support the storage and transfer of clinical data and information. This includes: analysing existing clinical knowledge repositories, assessing their limitations, and developing solutions to those limitations; providing expert advice on knowledge management issues; providing training to programme managers, system architects and end users; maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant knowledge management issues; and liaising and collaborating with academic groups and the research community.
